Ally offers therapy to adults and older adults for a wide range of psychological issues. Initial sessions are 75 minutes with subsequent sessions being 50 minutes. During your first session, you will be given details about the assistance that will be offered, including information about booking subsequent sessions and Ally’s therapeutic approach. Your role during therapy is to talk about your concerns and the thoughts and feelings you have while discussing them. Ally’s role is to ask questions about whatever topic you raise in order to help you to explore the topic in detail. Ally will also ask questions about other things you might only become aware of briefly, such as background thoughts, to help you consider your concerns from a different perspective. The goal of therapy is to help you to consider and resolve your concerns and reduce your symptoms of psychological distress.
